Lost TaskBar button

Reinstall of *Everything* on new hard disk. For one user, have lost the
round arrow button to show hidden icons. Task Bar is there and shows
everything it should, except for that button. Settings are identical for
both users. Could someone please tell how to get it back?
Help and advice most appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, right click the taskbar and click Properties and click tick Hide inactive
icons. If you only just installed Windows the icon will appear automatically
and if you let the computer run the icon usually appears before the first
reboot.

Hi, umwhat... Thanks for replying. But, well, I've double and triple
checked all "properties" settings for all users. They are identical, but
still for the one user, that button is not there. Doesn't matter if that
user logs on first or if switch user is used, when their screen comes up, no
button.
Any other ideas ? Thanks again for replying.
