Lost Schema

I have 2 domain controllers (dc1 & dc2) on a single forrest and domain. I
lost my Domain contoler (dc2) that had my Schema or I lost my Schema master.
How do I make my other domain controller (dc1) my schema master. I was/am
unable to do a DCPROMO to demote (dc2) because it crashed. All other (4)
roles are on (dc1).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Using Ntdsutil.exe to seize or transfer FSMO roles to a domain controller

Once you do this never bring the old box back online

Also you will want to remove data about the server that is now offline
