Lost Recycle Can

For some reason the trash can no longer appears on my desktop. I didn't see
anything happen that made it disappear but it is gone. Any ideas how to get
it back?

Install TweakUI, and use it to turn back on the Bin icon.

Thanks. As it turns out something got scrambled on my system and TweakUI
didn't even show it. I ended up going back to a good image of my c drive and
got it all back (and hopefully got rid of the failed bits).
