This happened to me once before several years ago and have forgotten how to
remedy. When in Access with a form in design mode and selecting
"properties" both the Access shell and the form window change color as
though they have lost focus, but the properties window is nowhere to be
found.

I have re-booted but ...

Any ideas?

Access 2000 (9.0.6926 sp-3) on Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 SP-2

TIA

On the toolbar, push the button to hide the properties window and then press it
again to display it. That will guarantee that it has focus. Then press
<Alt-Space> followed by <Enter>. That will activate the "Move with keyboard" on
the window and you can use the arrow keys to move it around until it is back
on-screen.

Yes that did it - thanks.
