Lost Post

Hi. I posted a few days ago (28th April I think) and now
cannot see my post or any replies. The page that it is on
shows Newsgroup Not Available. My post subject should have
read Really an Import Query but I misstyped and it became
Really and Import Query.

Could some kind soul see if its there and copy me any
replies I had, so that I can read them?

Hello John,

It is possible that you got some corruption on a query that is common to the
group of reports. See if you can open the query or sql statement associated
with those reports. If they open in ASL view then there is a problem with
the statement. It could have occured during the import, that is all I can
conclude. Also check that the drivers exist for the printer assigned to the
reports.

Are both of these copies on the same computer? If you are importing this
information from one computer to another on the network it could be a network
issue.

Well, Im doing all of this using one computer, but Im on a
networked system. Ill have a go at what Mark suggests,
i.e. running the query SQL on its owm but Im not hopeful.
Of course, if its a network issue, that just proves my
initial fear, i.e. that the various problems Ive been
experiencing over time are all caused by our very flaky
network. Having said that, I have tried this twice and
have experienced the same probem. Is it likely a network
problem would create this exact oddity twice in a row?

Anyway, thanks again for the help with the post. If I
still have problems, Ill try a fresh post in the Importing
and Exporting Data section, that is if I can get into it.
