lost photos after system restore

I did a full system restore and forgot to back up a photo file, any idea how i can recover it
 
Generally, unless you take the hard drive to a data recovery specialist who
may be able to retrieve the data but it is expensive, this data has been
written over during in the restore process.

I think you can undo your restore
