I was trying to send my photos to a cd rom just for backup since I was
wanting to reformat my hard drive. I tried to take the easy way out and
highlighted the 'my photos' folder. Then i clicked send to E: (my cd rom
drive/ burner) When it completed not all of the folders I had under my phots
were put into the disc. They were nowhere to be found on the hard drive
either. It looks like about half of them got on the cd. I tried to do a
system restore to see if they would come back, but to no avail. Can anyone
help me with this? Or are my photos lost? Thank you in advance

The same happened to me after " SP2 " install & Uninstall , it totally messed
up my P.C. and my pictures went into MY DOCUMENTS folder. I have NO clue why
they went there. But you can be sure if there not there , They are in Some
place on your P.C. I can not even get pictures to go to cd now!

Google for, and download, ISO Buster, a free program that will allow you
to see everything that's on the CD. If they're not there, they're not
there. If that doesn't work, go here: http://tinyurl.com/4ustt and
download Smart Recovery, a free utility that will scan your HD and
removable media for image files. You could have found this info
yourself, though, right in this NG. Thanks to John Inzer and Wislu
Plethora for the link.

Go to desktop and start and search and click pictures & then click pictures
& photos and search. It should show you EVERY picture you have on your P.C..
Hope this works for you .
