Lost Personal Web Server

Greetings,

I can't access my personal web server, I have no idea what has happen, only
when I did a start/run, the file is missing.

Can some one please tell me how I get it back onto my sytem or operate Front
Page with out it please.

Hi,

PWS was a Win9x function. In WinXP, you would use IIS. This is only
available in the Pro version, and can be installed from the Windows
Components section of Add & Remove in the Control Panel.

Many thanks, I have set it as you have said, but another problem has come up.

I now can't change the background on my web pages.

It says: Server error:m Invalid character in web name "/C/Documents and
settings/My Documents/My Webs":(0x27)

So when you open the file in notepad, what does the header code look like?

Rick, I am looking for a version of IIS to run on XP home, simply to test web
sites I have developed in FP. Any idea where I can get one ?
