Lost password

I am a caregiver for an 80 year old woman named Alice Snow, her daughter bought her some things for her computer that need to be installed, however the caregiver before me decided to put a password only she knows on the administrator account so i can't install these new things for Ms. Alice. I need to either know how to get passed her password and change it, or install without being under the administrator
