After loading windows 2000 I get a pop up window asking
me if i want windows to remember my pass word. I tell it
yes, but it never does.
I had this problem one time in the past and someone
directed me to something in knowledge base the involved
changing the registry and that corrected the problem. I
have been unable to find that information again. Can
someone help me?

Based on the information, let us perform the following steps to perform
this
task.

1. In Control Panel, double-click "Users and Passwords".

2. Click to clear the "Users must enter a user name and password to use
this
computer" check box.

NOTE: This option does not appear on a system that is a member of a
domain.

3. Click the Advanced tab.

4. Click to clear the "Require users to press Ctrl-Alt-Del before logging
on" check
box.
