lost partions !!!!

Hi all,
i was working on my pc yesterday the i installed Partion Magic v8 t
see its feature then i uninstalled it , then i restared my pc afte
this restart i found that 2 partions of my hard disk not accessibl
& this Msg appears : " the drive E not formated do u wanna forma
? " & the same Msg for the another partion then i opend th
properties i found in the File system Item UNKNOWN was written lik
this : " File System : Unknown " !!!!!!! so what i can do to fix my
partions without losing the data on these partions please help me

You dont say what OS, sounds like one of the NT/2K/XP family.

Its possible PM has molested the partition tables and
the OS doesnt like what its done to those two partitions.

You can try scanning the disk with DiskPatch (the demo). Feel free to post
the DiskPatch logfile to our online forum at www.diydatarecovery.com/forum
so we can try to determine what happened and if the partitions can be
repaired.
