I just began using Outlook XP for my email and calendar a
few weeks ago, and loving it.

then I started training for an online class and we need
to use outlook express (6) for the newsgroups.

whenever I try to send to email from express, an outlook
profiles dialogue box opens, so yesterday I decided to
open both outlook and outlook express at the same time to
see if the extra step/problem went away.

Instead, I lost all my email setting and archive folders
in Outlook. gone. I had backup software, but it only
seems to bring back what was in the in-box. not all my
extra local archive folders I personally developed.

Can anyone help?
Tara

All of your data should be in a file with a .PST extension. Search your
drive for all .PST files. If you're running Windows 2000 or XP, some .PST
files may be located inside hidden or system folders, so make sure you
enable searching in those folder types.
