Hi Gurus, I got rid of IE 6 with IEradicator after reading that might
help stabilise WinME. But then I lost IE. When I click on Norton at
startup, message says Norton requires IE 4 ofr more! How do I put back
IE. I have the WinME CDRom. Help

Some applications rely on IE (for example, for internet settings). Probably
lazy programming. Of course, the programmers probably don't expect people to
be nuking IE, to any significant extent.Anyway, you could try that IE 98
Lite application at the same place you got IE Eradicator. Or you could wait
for a reply from Art. He must know a way around this. I'm sure he's helped
people with these problems.

P.S. ME isn't very stable to begin with. Nuking IE probably isn't going to
help. I'd consider a different OS.

did you at least install an alternative browser before you eradicated
IE? if yes you should be able to browse to microsoft.com and download
IE... if not, how did you expect to use the world wide web?
