Lost network connection.

Sony Vaio running XP Home on a small office network.

I have a network setup and it runs fine with one
exception, when the laptop is turned off for the night and
then turned on again in the morning, the network
connection is lost. In order to get up and running the
network setup wizard needs to be run again to re-establish
the network. I can't find a solution in the knowledge
base, though I wonder if something is going on with the
network bridge? I'm sure I could solve the issue if it
were in Windows 98 or NT 4.0.

Any help would be appreciated. Please copy
(e-mail address removed) on any suggestions.

Good Cooking,

I have the same problem. The way I get reconected it to manually connect via the router (192.168.1.1). It is a pain to do that every day. I am convinced it is caused by XP. There must be a command issued by the registry to automaticaly connect to the internet. But no one seems to know what it is.
