Every morning I have to restart because my network
connection is gone sometime throught the evening. I
changed my network card and wire and it's still doing
it. Is there any reason why this is happening?

I am having a similar issue with this. What platform are
you using on server side. I have a 2003 Server running
and a NT 4.0 service pack 5 running. The XP Pro machines
are dropping mapped drives (and in some cases UNC)
Someone told me about Microsofts Knowledge base item
KB239924 and changing the Registry for TCP/IP Media Sense
I assume you are running TCP/IP if that is the case this
may help, if anyone else has some ideas let me know.
Good Luck and post how you made out, I am not back at
that site until later today. Thanks Greg

Try something. Select configure from the general tab of the properties
dialog. Look at the power management tab. Unselect the "allow the computer
to turn off this device to save power". Dont know if this will help
