lost my wireless mouse

I downloads upgrades and have a message that I have new hardware and now my
wireless mouse and keyboard don't work. the message said something about a
USB error.

The wireless mouse etc is on a USB. I am not sure what to remove to get
back to where I was.

Did you download :

NVIDIA Corporation multimedia software update released on
June 17 2003.

I did and it finds new hardware of no description, no
drivers can be found, am awaiting a reply.
