Lost my Standy By

Hi , I Lost my Standy By, I have the Home XP , I was in my Device Manager, I was scanning for new hardware, then my computer freeze , almost about 4min , I decide to Turn OFF my computer, after a few secord , I turn it back on, Everything was fine, then I decide to put the computer in Standy By mode, when to the Start click on it, to Turn off Computer, then I knowties the Standy By want gone, So can anybody help me.... Thank for your time...
 
Delete your corrupted display adapter driver. Reinstall a good version --
might as well get the latest from the graphics card manufacturer web site.
