Lost my outlook.pst folder when trying to reinstall.

I regret not having your answer but perhaps you can help
me-- you know more about Outlook than I do. I want to
back up my email files and addresses on disk (in addition
to Palm). Where are these files and what are they
called, do you know? Sorry not to be of help to you!
