Lost my DAO 3.6

I am having recent trouble with an Access database. In
the references, DAO 3.6 is checked but it says it's
missing. I recently did some cleaning up of unused apps,
and I'm afraid something must have been wiped out. I
still have a DAO360.DLL. How can I get it back on line?

try to register it using regsvr32.dll
uncheck reference, close dialog, then add reference again

That worked. Although the wading thru DOS was a
challenge. Thanks!

You don't need to wade through DOS. I generally create a shortcut to
regsvr32 in my "Send To" folder. I can then right-click on any dll file and
select Regsvr32 to register the dll.

You can download a registry patch from
http://ccrp.mvps.org/download/cooltools.htm that will add context-sensitive
options when you right click on a dll (or ocx) in File Explorer. It's near
the bottom of the page.

you can actually mouse drag the dll to the Regsvr32 on the run/program
prompt
