Lost my D Drive

Hi can anyone help a middle aged women with pc problems, I tried to burn my mp3 songs onto disk with Nero, it told me it was burning to disk, but didn't do this, now MY COMPUTER will not show my my D Drive so of course I cannot use it. What Should I do to get it working properly again.

Under section 8 - Problems - there is a link to a patch that often resolves
this problem. Then retry using Nero. Are you converting them to .cda format,
or just leaving them as .mp3's?
