I can't figure out where my CD Key is.. I had to reformat so it's no longer
in my e-mail, I tried to request a new one but it says I've used up all my
product keys... How do I go about re-obtaining my CD Key ID?

Create a new free email account via Hotmail/Yahoo/Gmail and then request a new key with the new email address.

I am in process of installing windows vista rc1

it's asking for a product key

I try reading the key off the sticker from the back of the computer and I
get "product key cannot be validated"

which is weird as when I update my xp I have had to "validate" my copy of
windows as genuine

so how do I go about getting a key to start testing ?

I can't find that info in any emails

thanks ahead of time

Much thanks!

btw

I signed up lst night and and spent all night downloading the file -
and burned it to dvd -

When I signed up there were some boxes I didn't check on the survey looking
form
and when I followed the link you gave me I checked some boxes and the next
page gave me a product key.

and as I have only one brain cell it can't afford to go on vacation :-)

thanks again.

IF the key was in your email then WHY would you look on the sticker on the
back of your pc?

Well - I didn't at first know it was in my email -
I tend to do things really fast without thinking
so I missed the part about the key in the email and the welcome I did get
didn't have a serial
so I assumed since it was a beta test that would expire and on it's own I
wouldn't need a #

anyway - I completed the form sign up form right and got a right key!
