To MS Discussion group, I have completely lost the "Menu Bar" (File
Edit View Go Favorites Tools Help) on my 98 SE.
Have a strong feeling I lost it while eliminating some corrupt and/or bad
files. I just
installed an upgrade version of 98 SECOND EDITION and had as a platform
98 FULL... I beleive outlook express is not installed... Tonight I
installed Internet
Explorer 6 and again this did not replace menu bar...

Hi midnitesilver :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Toolbar Missing:

To restore your Toolbar, right click the mouse button on any open area of
the Toolbar. You should see a list of tool bars, click on Standard Buttons
and see if this restores your toolbar.

or........

Press F11

or...........

Toolbar missing:

Put the cursor where the toolbar should be. {Next to Tools Message
Help, etc}. Right click and then click on the word Toolbar.

or...............

Reset IE Toolbars

If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps
