Lost Material

I was trying to load a Calendar last night and loaded some template from a
microsoft site. I did what it said but instead of loading on the page, it
loaded in my main files. So I just deleted the material. I ended up using a
table and it worked fine, but when I published again, I lost my entire home
page. It now just says 2005 Calendar (Khaki Design). it overwrote
everything! Is there anyway to get this material back? Please help in dire
straights...
 
Does your host maintain back-ups of your web??
