Lost links from emails

All of a sudden, web links from emails are not being passed to my
browser. Instead I get a message "windows cannot find http://..(url
of the link) ..." Make sure you have typed the name correctly .......

Are you using Mozilla Firefox as the default, per chance?

Make sure to download the most recent releases of he mentioned Firefox
add-ons, if you use them. This bug is supposed to be fixed in all of them
now.

Are you running Firefox? If so, the following link may be of help.

I don't know if there are similar problems or fixes with IE. Hopefully
somebody else here will.
