Hi,

We purchased Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and apparently the license for
Outlook 2003 that comes with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 was not recorded
by our people here and therefore we dont have the license key. Is there a way
we can recover the license key without having to pay $99 for an email support
or over $200 for telephone support.

I'd like to know if its even possible to retrieve a lost key or if I just
have to suck it up and live without the license.

TIA

Phil

There are programs for recovering lost Microsoft licenses, which are
recorded in the Registry in highly-encrypted form. Most of these
utilities are free for the download.

Three programs to "google" in your browser:
1) Magic KeyFinder (Locates and displays Windows CD key and Office
key)
2) Everest Home Edition (Locates and displays Windows CD key and
Product ID)
3) AIDA32 Enterprise Edition (Locates and displays Windows CD key and
Office key)

The problem really is that it has not been installed on any workstations yet,
so I cannot recover the key from anywhere. I was hoping there was some way I
could get a hold of microsoft to get the key back, or if its just a lost
cause.

TIA
