Lost Jpg option in Save As Window, only BMP available

Hello,
When right clicking on a known jpeg from a web site to save the picture, the
"Save As" window only has the save as a BMP option. The save as a Jpeg has
disappeared. Using Windows XP, have made no changes or updates in over a
month. Absolutely no changes were made to the computer. The "Save As" type
box does not allow me to type in "Jpg" either.
Please help if you can, thank you very much.

It's time to perform some simple house cleaning chores:

Go to Start > Run and type: CLEANMGR.EXE , and hit enter.
This will start your disk cleanup utility. Make sure to cleanup
your Temporary Internet Files.
