Lost Encarta icon. Not in recycle bin. Would like to
return it the screen. Can I create a new one.
 
Yep. Find the programs *.exe file where you installed it. Right click it and
select Create new shortcut. Select and drag the selected shortcut to where
you want it.

go to the Encarta listing in programs and right click
Click to expand...
select "create short cut" then drag and drop to the desk
top.
