lost hyper links 64kb - fixed in 2007?

Does anyone know or tryed allready if this issue is fixed with PP 2007?

With PowerPoint 2003 i had the issue that once i had too many liks
(exceeding 32kb apperantly), you loose them all. But it only happens
once you've saved and closed the document.

I had to work arround with splitting the document into several parts,
which created more problems with the cllient. Don't ask.

I don't know if this has been fixed or not, but I do know there are some
issues with links breaking if you save a 2007 file as a 2003-97 format.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926953/en-us Now, the PPT Viewer backsaves
files as 2003-97 format in order to open them, so I don't think I'd trust
the links much at all -- especially in the Viewer.

I don't know if the link limit is fixed in a straight 2007 file or not,
though.
