I have seen some posts similar to this one, however
theirs related to drives larger then 137GB. I have the
following set-up:
OS: WinXP Pro
Dell Dimensions XPSB 1G
512 MB RAM
Sil 0680 ATA 133 Controller Card
Maxtor 80G HD
IBM 30G HD on built in ATA slot.
For some reason, my system is reporting that one of my
partitions only has 29.9GB remaining when there should be
49.52. This is the only partition taht is NTFS, with a
total size of 56.7G. Pagefile is not on this drive. Total
file and folder usage is actually 7.18G (as reported by
file explorer, highlighting all and going to properties).
This should leave 49.52 remaining. When you go to my
computer and it lists all of the drives it says that this
drive only has 29.9 GB free. This is also all that is
recognised by other software on this drive. What happened
to the remaining 19.62G? I am computer literate so have
made sure that there are no hidden files or anything of
