Lost hard drive space after installing XP

I recently reinstalled XP and upon doing so the computer
asked if I wanted to remove the partition on my hard
drive. I clicked yes unfortunately now I am missing 30
gig of hard drive space. Any help in recovering my
harddrive space would be greatly appreciated.

Click start/run, then type (no quotes "diskmgmt.msc", click OK. Then right click, as to highlight the partition in question, and choose "format" (to either FAT32, or NTFS).
