My old computer recently died, but fortunately I was able to save the hard drive. I am using it externally at the moment on a friend's computer until I can purchase a new system of my own.
Unfortuantely, I"m not able to run most of my software; however, there are a few essential programs my friend is willing to let me load temporarily on his eMachine.
My problem is that most of my software was downloaded from the net. I still have most of those, but I had saved all the info (registration numbers, etc.) in a folder called "SAVED" in my Windows Live Mail account. I can open WLM from the external drive, but this folder (and my receipts folder) are missing. Is there any way to retreive thes folders?
I'm using WindowsXP, with McAfee. Thanks for any assistance you might provide.
