Lost folders from 98 to XP upgrade

I lost all older messages and custom folders during the
upgrade. All folders were subfolders of inbox. Where
would the old folders and messages be so I could import
them?

Tell us more. Like precisely what you did. All Outlook information is stored
in the same PST file.
