Lost Folder

I have lost a folder. It appears, but there is nothing it
it. Yet, when I search for some of the files in this
folder, they come up as being in that folder. How do I
bring the original folder back up? Can anyone help? I'm
running Windows XP-Home on a Compaq Computer. You can

my brain tring to figure this one out.

First, it's not a good idea at all to post your REAL email address. Expect
lots of spam, including virus laden.

Type the name of the folder in Search (on Start button). Is there more than
one folder shown with the same name but different location ? If so, you can
open via the search results to find the empty one to delete.
