Lost files

I allowed someone to get on my computer now i have these
messages coming up saying, "Microsoft UYVY video
decompessor, and also this one, missing
file, "tsbyuv.dll... can you help me????????? Desperate!!!

What are the exact error messages? Sounds like a codec is missing on the
machine and needs to be reinstalled. When do you get the error messages?
Doing something specific, on boot, when?
