You can replace that file by going to Start > Run, type in: "msconfig"
(without the quotes), click OK. On the General tab, click the "Expand File" button.
The file to restore is: nusrmgr.cpl . Restore from either C:\I386 (if present on your computer)
or D:\ (where D is your CD drive). Insert your Windows XP CD in the CD drive and save the
file to C:\Windows\System32.

Hi
The XP software was on my pc when purchased from Circuit
City so I do not have a disk to load in my D drive. I
also do not think it is in my c:\I386. I do not see
nusrmgr.cpl. I do see nusrmgr.cp_ . I tried this file
but to no avail. Is it possible to send me the
nusrmgr.cpl file via e mail? If so my address is
(e-mail address removed) If you cannot send me the file can I
download it from the microsoft website?
Thank you for your help with this.
Charlie
