Bret

When using windows picture and fax viewer, the second
button from the right on the bottom of the screen used to
open a very similar program that let me edit (simply) my
pictures. All of sudden it wouldn't open that program and
pushing that button gave me a choice of other programs to
use to edit my picture, none of which was the program that
I had been using!
Can anyone tell me what the file name of that program is
and the directory it may be in so that I can restore it to
be the 'default' editing program when I want to edit from
windows picture and fax viewer??
Does that make sense?
TIA

Hi Bret,

By default it points to Paint.

Go to Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/File Types. Select an image
type (jpg). Click on Advanced then New. Name for Action type in: &Edit.
Under Application used to perform action: Browse to the
application/software. Set it as default. Ok your way out.

Restore Paint (Line 191)
