My brother has accidentally deleted his speaker drives from his PC.

Are there any easy ways of recovering the drivers?

I'm assuming you mean the sound card drivers. The first thing your
brother can try is a System Restore to before he deleted the drivers.

Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.
Restore computer to earlier date.

If that doesn't work, he can reinstall the sound card drivers. If he
doesn't know what hardware is in his computer, he can use a free system
inventory program like Everest Home.

Never get drivers from Windows Update. Get them from:

1. The card mftr.'s website; OR
2. The motherboard mftr.'s website if onboard video; OR
3. The OEM's website for your specific machine if you have an OEM
computer (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).

Read the installation instructions on the website where you get the
drivers.

If you have installed drivers from Windows Update, you can roll them

Malke,

Thanks for your suggestion.

He did not create a restore point and therefore I suspect I will have to go
down the route of the system inventory program you are suggesting.
