I have just completed setting up a home network, laptop
and desktop (base) via a cross over cable. For some
reason, the desktop always tries to dial up my internet.
I have "unchecked" the autodial, and ran the "clean boot"
process using MSCONFIG. After the process of elimination,
it seems as though my problem lies somewhere in the "LOAD
SYSTEM SERVICES" under MSCONFIG. How do I locate the
particular process that is causing my system to try and
access the internet? PLEASE HELP!!!
