lost document

i was in microsoft works word processor typing a document
and went to insert a picture, in the process a little box
popped up saying "system not responding" so i closed it
(thinking i was closing the program where i was
retrieving the photo from) but instread it closed out
microsoft works and now i have lost my document. any way
to retrieve it?

Hi,

If you have enabled autosave or saved the document
periodically then there is a chance to retrieve. if not
then it is gone for good.
