Lost days in Powerpoint

Hi there

I currently have a looping presentation that is only closed/opened once a month to update dates figures etc, im looking to have a lost days counter in the presentation that will auto update each day that passes since the last lost time accident. I have had a look around and I believe this can be done with VBA trouble is I have never used VBA and the code means didley squat. Anyone have any ideas of how I can achieve this?
