Lost data - data recovery tool?

I have been reading the posts that there are bugs with the
quarantine that causes folders and files to be removed
that are not suppose to be.

My question isn't there any data recovery tools that I
could use to restore the deleted folders?

I had the unfortunate experience of lost data as well.
Why, ms decided something was wrong with a folder, that
prior scans never deemed as a serious threat, was
quarintined today, I'll never know. And when I chose to
unquarintine it, it disappeared from the list, but...
was never restored as it was suppose to be. It just
sickens me! yrs. of collecting, downloading, uploading,
categorizing, etc. gone... POOF! Besides all my music,
all my music videos, a view movies, and all my funny
clips (which took forever to downloaad, seeings I am
still using a land line!!!) I lost personal video clips
that can NEVER be replaced, as some people in them, are
no longer with us! I've been working at this for more
than 6 hrs. so far. I sure hope I can get them back!
 
Unfortunately this is hindsight now.
But you should always have back-ups of all important data.
If not for this, you probably eventually would have lost it all due to hard
drive failure or some other problem.
