Lost contacts in address book

Outlook Express. During an excercise of changing my main contact name I seem
to have deleted all my contacts. My address book is now empty.

Is there any way of retrieving this information.

I have already checked the OE WAB files and they are empty.

My o/s is XP home.
 
It could be that you have erased everthing and not be able to get it back but
you could try going to search and type in Address Book and see if anything
comes up from that.
