lost changes

I need to located changes that I made to a file that i did not save, when
promted to while in microsoft word.
Is there any way that i can located the unsaved information?

If you didn't close the document, you can click Undo as many times as
needed to get back to the version you want. Once you close the
document, the changes vaporize and there is no way to retrieve them.
