Can anyone explain why the bottom border won't publish. It's on the FP2002
page and previews ok. I've gone to Format - Shared Borders and checked the
bottom box and clicked on the all pages radio button but it just won't
publish. Any help would be most welcome. Fred

Make sure you are publish with Change Page only selected.

Hi Thomas,

Change Page is checked but I've just noticed that when I click Publish web
the borders folder is missing. How can I add this folder and publish it?
Fred

What do you mean the border folder is missing?
Are you publishing to a server that have the FP extensions via FP's http mode?

Yes I am publishing to a server with FP extensions and they have kindly
reloaded them to see if there was a problem but the fault still remains.
If I go into FP and click on File then Open the yellow folder appears and I
can amend the top or bottom border. However, the yellow folder is a very
light yellow instead of the usual sharp darker yellow folder. If I then go
to File - Publish web the lighter yellow folders don't show up. Please
advise. Fred

The _border folder is normal hidden from view when in FP, unless you enable viewing of hidden folder
under Tools | Web / Site Settings.

Also make sure you are using File Menu | Open Web / Site when you need to work on the content of
your web, do not open individual page first.

Thanks a million Thomas the first bit of advice did the trick. Regarding
your second piece of advice if I do what you stated then all that shows up
is the folders and not the actual web pages. Is this correct or am I doing
something wrong? Fred

that's because it *should* be a hidden folder, indicated by the light-yellow
you mention

If you are referring to the open web dialogue - that is correct. You
are opening a web, not a page or file. Webs are folders, so all you
need to see are folders.
When the web is opened, all the files and folders (except those that
are hidden) will be seen in the folder list and/or folder view.
