Im not exactly sure if this pertains to this post or not
but some advice on what to do would be much appreciated.
I searched for Windows updates the other day and
discovered some of 'critical' importance. After Windows
finished upgrading I was prompted to restart. This was
the last i saw of my operating system. Now when i turn
the computer on, it only makes it as far as
saying 'Windows is starting up'. Before the login screen
appears, it loops back to the initial start up. A friend
told me this is because my boot registry may have been
deleted. Is that accurate? How do I solve this problem
keeping in mind that my computer came with no software
whatsoever. thanks

There's no such thing as "boot registry" If the pc has a blue screen stop
error then this may help.
