HELP, Please. I goofed and unchecked this box which pops
up before you download files from the Internet.I have
never removed this check mark before as long as I have
used a computer.

Hi,
You have to set this option for each file type and the route to Folder
options> File types will be slightly different, depending on your OS:

From Windows Explorer> View> Folder options> File types
OR Explorer> Tools> Folder options> File types
OR Ctrl Panel> Folder options then File Types. Select [file type]> Advanced.
Put a check by "Confirm open after download."
You should then get the "Open or Save" dialog for each download.

Thanks, Don, I was in a rush and didn't include a name, so
appreciate you replying to Anonymous. Anyway I had gone
there before and when I opened this for Zip files it was
already check marked, but after your reply I went ahead
and unchecked and then rechecked and closed, I believe I
have seen others advise this for other things. Anyway I
didn't think it would work, but tried to download a
desktop theme file in zip format and it did.
Thanks again
