Lost all of my MP3 files

I used Kazaa for a short period but kept the folder for
storing all the MP3's I burned from my CDs. Microsoft
AntiSpyware supposedly quarantined them, so I
unquarantined them. Next time I started the computer, they
were all missing (thousands of them) - they do not appear
to be quarantined and cannot be found on the hard drive.
Can anyone help me retrieve them?
Thanks,

As noted on the webpage before you download MSAS it will delete all files
that KAZAA downloads

I had uninstalled Kazaa, but I am sure there were remnants
on the hard drive. With a few exceptions, the MP3 files
were not downloaded by Kazaa - since when are MP3 files
consider spy software? And why did the program say they
were quarantined and then delete them?

It is irrelvant where the files came from or what downlaoded them: when the
KaZaA folder is processed, the entire contents of the folder will be
processed.

If you selected "quarantine", then the files were quarantined, not deleted,
and you can use MSAS to un-quarantine them back into life. You will not
find them on the hard disk because MSAS changes their names when placing
them into quarantine.

Help. I ran a scan on June 14. I can see in the scan log
that it detected my old Kazaa file and quarantined the
file. I elected to unquarantine the file since I still
stored many of my old MP3 files there and the program let
me unquarentine Kazaa right after the scan. I even made
sure that all of my MP3 files remained on the computer
after the scan was completed. After I restarted my
computer at a later date, the Kazaa file was gone, along
with all of my MP3 files. I do not have the option to
unquarentine the Kazaa file anymore from within the
AntiSpyware program. What happened to the files? I
attempted to run a system restore, but that didn't bring
the files back either. Any suggestions?

i didn't read any of that ms 'fine print', but if it
really does wipe out kazaa files and folders, i think
that's f*in' hysterical!!!!!!!!

ha ha THIEF!
