Hope someone can help...

While I was trying to start Outlook express 5, my screen
froze. Trying to restart I was given a number
of error messages including, "Tspddicon.exe, GetActivePwr
scheme error!", TpurTray.exe, Cannot load
PowrProf.dll,"Regsvr32 has caused error". When trying to
start outlook now I've lost ALL my saved email messages,
folders, contacts etc. Is the mail lost, or is it hidden
in some file somewhere

ANY SUGGESTIONS???
 
Do a search for *.pst on your computer...... it would be helpful if you
include the operating system then we could tell you where the outlook data
is stored by default for an easier search. When you do a search make sure
you are searching hidden files and folders

Win 98/ME - C:\Windows\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\

Win 2000/ XP - C:\Documents and settings \<o/s username>\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Your advice is completely bogus for someone asking about Outlook Express.
The OP should ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.
