lost administrators log on icon

I was creating seperate acounts for everyone in my
household and lost the administrator's log on icon at the
start up. I created all the other acounts and then
logged off and my administrator icon disappeared. How do
I log back into the administrator acount?

that is default behaviour when new accounts are set up.
As you don't say which version you have, in Home Edition, boot up into Safe
Mode. In Pro, press Ctl-Alt-Del twice at the welcome screen.

Please Note - it is a BIG NO NO to use the built-in administrator account
for daily use. Keep it for emergency access, which you WILL need at some
time.
Create a User account for yourself and assign it Admin rights.
