On your Homepage you have a toolbar, usually on top. It has icons and
subjects, {File, Edit, View,etc}. Put your mouse cursor on a blank part of
this toolbar. Click the right hand button on the mouse. You will get a box
with Menu Bar, Address Bar, Links,etc.
Left click where it says Address Bar and you will get a check mark. Now it
should work.
If it is already checked, hit the F11 key to minimize the screen and see if
it is now viewable.
